Camp Yosemite in Comfort

When you camp Yosemite at Curry Village, you are likely to be impressed by the unique concept of tents on platforms. It is one of the lower priced lodging options in the park, and while some love the convenience and price, others find them too noisy and stuffy for their tastes.
The place is typically packed with people, and bears. The wooden frames and platforms have canvas walls and no electricity, with two simple cots in side. Hearing people banging on pots and pans every night shouting "bear!" is not the peaceful, natural experience that many campers have in mind. However, there are also wood cabins on the opposite end of Curry Village that feel more sufficiently woodsy and quiet. These cabins are cozy and clean and feature antique, iron bed frames, no TVs, but they do have a private bathroom. Visitors in the tent cabins, on the other hand, have to trek to communal toilets and showers.
